Mrs. Nagy has served in a variety of roles in education from teacher and department lead to researcher. Because of her experience in serving a wide-array of communities, Mrs. Nagy developed a teaching philosophy that emphasizes student-centered and interest-driven learning. As a history teacher, she emphasizes the importance of teaching students to think and process knowledge critically rather than focusing on rote memorization of facts and dates. Mrs. Nagy holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Texas, as well as a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Virginia.
