Jake Margolis is a passionate education leader with experience as a science teacher, department chair, developer, and researcher. He has taught AP Physics, AP Environmental Science, Chemistry, Astronomy, and General Science. In addition to his time in the classroom, he has worked with LabXchange to develop a scientific literacy module and with the Learning, Innovation, and Technology lab as a real-time bio-feedback researcher. He continues to work as a consultant for other educational organizations. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Secondary Education. He recently received his Ed.M from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. His studies focused on personalization, neuroscience, and outreach in education.
Jake is driven by his commitment to spreading curiosity, creating a scientifically literate populace, and improving educational ecosystems for students and staff.
