ICL Academy is the only online school that tailors academics to a variety of student passions. From fencing to cross country, dance to water polo, we have brought together legends, experts, and top influencers to create a program for students focused on their individual journey.
At ICL, we believe that context and relevance are the keys to a fun and engaging learning process. With the aid of technology, our students study math, science, history, and writing through the context of their passion.
We recognize that a champion-level pursuit of excellence requires flexibility. ICL teachers schedule testing and coursework around their students' training, travel and tournament schedules. WATER POLO CHAMPION
TONY AZEVEDO
Tony Azevedo is a 4-time Olympic medalist in waterpolo and co-founder of 6-8 and ICL Water Polo Academy. Tony Azevedo is a Brazilian-born American water polo player and graduate of Stanford University. With 5 Olympic Games, a Silver Olympic Medal, 5 Pan American Game Gold, and 8 World Championships (a world record), he is considered to be one of the best American water polo players of all time. He is the current captain of the USA Water Polo National Team.
DANCE CHAMPION
VAL CHMERKOVSKIY
Val Chmerkovskiy is a Ukrainian-American professional dancer, best known for his appearances on the U.S. version of Dancing with the Stars, which he won twice. Chmerkovskiy is a two-time World Latin Dance Champion and a 14-time U.S. National Latin Dance champion.
